I’m no vegetarian as I love a good bloody steak but that is not what we are looking for. In the world of dumpster diving I keep meat off the menu. The chances of getting sick are just too high and one bad experience like that could turn someone away very quickly from the hobby.
The amount of abundant produce is well enough to fill anyone’s stomach to the brim. And the possibilities of cooking are literally endless. And that is one of the coolest parts of dumpster diving is that the you will have to be creative to be able to cook and prepare the endless possibilities. Some of my favorite recipes are: oven cauliflower roast, yam ginger soups and bell pepper with potatoes hash browns in the morning.
